For more than a century, The Boys and Girls Club of Providence has had a significant impact on thousands of children. And while its focus has evolved to keep pace with society – including an increased emphasis on workforce development – the core mission has remained the same. Over the past five months, Jim Hummel has gone inside clubhouses across the city to see the nonprofit in action.
